Need a little hep here! I've been offline for a week due to a significant computer malfunction...My credit now shows 74 K.., but I remember my last credit to be around 220 K...Sadly, I didn't have E@home backed up.Do I loose credits for being off line?..I hope not..I'm not totally set up yet so to be sure I get your reply, please e-mail me at www.mixednutsduo3@yahoo.com..Thanks in advance, John H.

No, you should never lose credits and you don't need to backup anything. There are many ways to recover your project information after a computer failure without needing a backup.

Your current host has 74K credits but if you look at the total under your name where you posted you will see your full total. The reason for the discrepancy is that you actually have two computers listed on the project. The older one last contacted the project back on April 25 so it now doesn't show on your computers list. However if you click the "show all computers" link there, it will magically reappear. I'm guessing that you really don't have two seemingly identical hosts and if so, all you need to do is click on the "Details" link for one of them and go to the bottom of the page where you will find a "merge" link. This should allow you to merge the two separate identities and then all your credits will be visible in one place.

Cheers,
Gary.
