That was a very quick hello and goodbye :-). In case we're doing something wrong, would you care to share with us what caused you to change your mind so quickly? I know that installing BOINC, attaching to a project and getting things to run smoothly can be quite daunting at first so it would be very helpful to us if you could share your experiences.
Accounts (by design) aren't able to be deleted by participants. If you are sure you want to get rid of your account and you don't want any sensitive info left behind, the best thing to do is to go to your account page and use the 'change' option for email address, password, and other account info. Remove any sensitive information by setting junk values for everything. Then log out and you are done.
If you change your mind and decide to give the project a go, there would be several people willing to help you get started. Just post any questions here and someone is bound to respond.
