Hi everyone,
we discovered at least two counterfeit instances of the Einstein@Home website. These aren't copies (that would soon be outdated) but rather sophisticated proxied versions that do appear to be up to date and thus the real deal. While these sites don't proxy the application list or the server status page, they seem to proxy almost everything else, incl. forum content. We don't know their purposes but their provider's intentions are presumably of the malicious sort. We deploy technical counter measures as far as we can but those have their limits and there might always be more of those fakes out there, of course.
So, please stay vigilant and have a look at your browser's address bar, in particular before entering your login credentials. Ideally, don't click on any links to our website from untrusted sources. There's only one canonical domain and that is: einsteinathome.org
Cheers,
Oliver
