I'm terrible at giving clues. It's not really to do with astronomy, 23, or a birthday though it could have had something to do with astronomy before the 54st post came and went and no one had even tried to guess. Before it was specifically vague and now it is vaguely specific. 42 is significant in one universe but not necessarily this one. Or maybe it just explains what's wrong with this one. Or maybe just what's wrong with this TLPTP.

I wasn't too thrilled with it myself either :/ Some kind of quantum entanglement happened :\ involving the mouse, the scrollbar and my brain. It was awful.

I remember waxing lyrical about nine sixes...? Then came the edit. I'd found out (in wiki I think) that 54 is 42 in base thirteen (or something like that) and had thought it was interesting enough to add which is when it somehow cancelled out everything that had been as well as itself... a bit like what has been alleged would happen if the answer and the question were both known in the same universe at the same time....
