Interesting!!!!

...what can I say... it's been a slow day...

:)

In that case, why haven't we heard more from you?

Slow brain day :) and suffixes are comfortingly predictable :) and exactly where you last put them :) usually... and sometimes you get whole strings of them...

sequispedalismian - a cyclist involved specifically in synchronising his or her pedalling with others... a practise banned soon after it started due to the Great penny farthing disaster of High Holborn in 1898.

The incident has since been covered up - unlike many of the ladies involved at the time - and sequispedalismians villified, along with long skirts - although the latter to a lesser degree. It wasn't until March 2015, that the real villain of the piece was finally revealed to be the penny farthing itself. Rumours that some sequispedalismians turned left at a time that the main contingent turned the other left, have since been discounted after being traced back to the militant wing of PFFF (Penny Farthings Forever) The extra F may be due to a misunderstanding at the printers' offices, following which five people were hospitalised with ink stains.

Ooh... nasty... :/

Didn't you know ? You just get whatever diagnosis is sitting on top of the filofax.

I'll pass that on to my GP :) He's still using this method...

Quote:

anatimicapseer - diagnostic tool worn on the head and used by GP's when their broadband crashes and they can no longer use google to work out what's wrong with their patients. Works on similar basis as crystal balls, tea leaves, and tarot cards.

septicaemiarns - risk associated with overuse of anatimicapseers

which - as you can see - is not without it's problems.

Our GP's WILL be pleased :)

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

Oh, Annie, Annie, Annie...

Oh. Okay... well... that made things clear :) I will go away and re-examine things.

.. .. .. ..

How about AlienAssDequipism? reached the G7's "top ten mostest list of self-explanatory words" in late 2014 following that interplanetary diplomacy debacle I mentioned.

In mounting anticipation of another rejected offering *hide betrayed anniet eyes up nose* I will do the going away and coming back thing AGAIN with something else for you to darn at... :)

edit: to put in a question mark I forgot to put in the first time. It looks like this -> ? and is up there somewhere... ^

+ for being amusing
- for being close to correct.

4 letters correct

The previous guess had 9, plus a group that would be correct if you took the letter off one end of the group and put it on the other end of the group.

This analysis is correct.

One more clue: the word is a good example of itself.

Yes. Finally.

And you can see how Annie was sooooo excruciatingly close and yet still so far from correct.

You can also see why it's so appropriate for this thread, and such a great example of itself. Definition: a tendency to use excessively or unnecessarily long words.

Carry on, sir.
